Q:	What does “denkstatt” mean?
A:	denkstatt is derived from the German words “denken”, which means “think” and “werkstatt”, which means “workshop”. This play on words aptly describes our approach in integrating sustainability issues into the everyday work of organizations. We strive to seize each opportunity and customize an appropriate course for its implementation and development.

Q:	Who can benefit from our services?
A:	In one word, everyone. Our services are designed to reduce people’s impact on the environment, improve the quality of relations within society, and increase the profits of businesses. Some more than others, but depending on our lifestyles, each of us has an impact on the environment and society. It is the individual trend setters that have started the sustainability revolution, but we believe business will lead the shift in paradigm needed to achieve a sustainable society that is in balance with nature. Business is the engine of innovation, wealth creation, and even modern society and this is why our services are optimal for corporate clients, but they can also be effectively applied to any type of organization.

Q:	In Bulgaria there is no legislation requiring many of the services you offer. Why should we consider them?
A:	Thought leaders know achieving sustainability is not a question of if, but when. It is a must and the basis for why the voice of stakeholders is increasingly being taken into account by successful businesses. Many of our services were implemented on a voluntary nature in the past, but they are delivering environmental and economic benefits today and lend themselves to a hassle free tomorrow. Therefore organizations use our services not because of regulations, but because that is what the market wants. More transparency through reporting, more profits through use of less environmental resources, and a higher quality of life through improved dialogue; these are the reasons our success depends on yours.

Q:	What is sustainable development?
A:	denkstatt believes the term sustainability refers to the collaborative effort to overcome the significant challenges facing humanity. At the local level these challenges depend on many factors including a region’s stage of development, geographic location, culture, and even weather patterns, to name just a few. Therefore sustainable development is an approach aimed at balancing local economic, social, and environmental profitability, so that all regions can infinitely prosper.
